One of the biggest trends of this season are the textured blazers. 

Velvet, leather, tweed and knit are the materials that you will get to see the most at the stores.

Since these materials are such a statement, do not wear them as total looks.

Combine these materials with softer ones to get a more clean look.

THE NEW LACOSTE POLO

Eighty years ago, the famous tennis player, René Lacoste, designed one of the most iconic pieces ever: 

The Polo Shirt.

René was not happy with the clothes he had to wear at his games, so he decided to create something more practical, but still classy.

Peter Saville, the creative director of Lacoste, is now the one who has the mission of reinventing this important piece of clothing by giving it some of his own little twist.

Saville decided to keep the essence of the shape and color (white) and create 80 different crocodile logos to commemorate the 80th birthday of the brand.

This new collection is called Holiday Collector Series No 8 and is available for both men and women.

Each piece is packaged with an authenticity's certificate signed and numbered by Saville himself.

THE HOODED JACKET

The hooded jacket appears to be a pretty modern invention but, as one of the editors of Mr. Porter says, it is not as modern as we think it is. In fact, the Inuits have been wearing a version of it for at least a millenium.

The hood was created with the intention of keeping people warm but it has been associated to a symbol of style for the last years.

This season, hooded jackets are not a must have but they are definitely a should have.

They are perfect for a casual look since they add such a Bohemian vibe to your style but even on top of formal looks they can look good.

I would just advise shorter guys to wear smaller jackets. 

Taller guys can wear pretty much any type.
